Belmont Holds Poetry Tea
Students in the third grade classes of Mrs. Pace and Mrs. Calascibetta at Belmont held a "Poetry Tea" in April to conclude their poetry writing unit. The students had been learning about various techniques in a writing workshop and had studied several poets. As a culminating activity, they chose one of their original poems to share with their parents and families at a "poetry tea." They also shared their poems with their book buddies in Mrs. Faughnan’s first grade class.
