DeLuca Students Sing National Anthem at Islander Game
Singers from the DeLuca Elementary School and their music teacher, Mr. Lazarek, performed the National Anthem on Friday night, April 8th at the Nassau Coliseum. Mr. Lazarek, an avid Islander fan, was very excited for the students to have this wonderful opportunity, particularly since they all enjoyed a school assembly with the Islanders this past winter. After their performance, many of the students stayed to cheer the team on to victory. The picture was taken at the school assembly this past winter.
