DeLuca and Belmont Students Use iPads to Learn

The students in Mrs. Cahill's first grade class at William E. DeLuca have been utilizing the iPad to enhance their learning during their literacy workstations. They have been practicing their letters in a writing center, recording their voices in a listening center, and practicing letter sounds and making words in a phonics center. All of the activities are done on the iPad, which is highly motivating and exciting for them.

The children in Mrs. Mathon’s class at Belmont have also been having fun using iPads to review their short vowels. Pictured are students from Mrs. Cahill’s class.
