Four HS Students Recognized for Academic Success
Four high school students have been recognized for their outstanding academic success.
Three Students Win Commendation
Three North Babylon High School students have been named Commended Students in the 2010 National Merit Scholarship Program. These outstanding students are Tausif Noor, Peter C. Ruess and Christine Zhao. They are among only about 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation and are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise.
Student Earns Perfect Scores in Chemistry
Kevin Schmid was honored at the December School Board meeting for earning perfect scores on the Chemistry Regents Exam, the Chemistry AP Exam, and the SAT II in Chemistry. These are highly competitive exams, and Kevin obviously knows his chemistry.
