MGV Hall Monitor Knits for Others

A hall monitor at Marion G. Vedder Elementary School, Mrs. Susan Ravva, is an impressive lady who does good works by knitting certain items of clothing for others. She knits helmet liners for U.S. soldiers serving overseas, scarves for senior citizens, hats for the homeless, bonnets for babies, and warm shoulder capes for the elderly. For the past five years, she has spent many hours of her time crocheting for others. It's a hobby for her, which she pursues while she is watching television or baby sitting her daughter's dogs.
