MGV Kids Give Back To Community
Mrs. Cullinane and Mrs Padrone's 3rd grade class, Miss Cavangh"s 5th grade class, and Mrs. Kostulas' kindergartners visited the Spangle Drive Senior Center in North Babylon to bring some holiday cheer by singing a variety of holiday songs. The smiles on the faces of both the seniors and the children were priceless as the children encouraged the seniors to sing along with them.
The seniors were overcome with joy and wanted to let the children know, so they gave the teachers money to buy the children a treat. The children decided to take the money given and donate it to the Make A Wish Foundation, so that a sick child could benefit and have a happier holiday. This experience was truly heartwarming for all.
