Music of Note at RMMS
The Robert Moses Middle School Select Chorus, under the direction of Tiina Buehler, and the Jazz Band, under the direction of Mrs. Teresa Pino, were once again selected to perform in Albany at the Grand Concourse Building on March 3rd as part of a series of performances in celebration of the "Music in Our Schools Month."
The RMMS Marching Band was invited to perform at the Garden City Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 6th. The parade is a competition and in the past the Marching Band has received 2nd Place in 2007 and the Chairman’s Trophy (the highest honor) in 2006 and 2008. Mrs. Pino is the Director of the band.
