NBHS Band Performs in NYC Parade
This year the North Babylon High School Band received its 14th invitation to the Saint Patrick's Day Parade down 5th Avenue in the Big Apple on March 17th. Along with melodies from Ireland, the band also performed the music of the Beatles. Under the leadership of Drum Majors Jillian Manzo, Michael Madrigal and Woo Ju Baek, the Band marched the span of 48 city blocks, proudly displaying the pride of North Babylon. The Band, under the direction of Frank Rizzo and Jay Orig, competed against other marching bands from all over the country and gave a spirited and professional show that wowed onlookers.
