NBHS Senior Wins Music Scholarship
North Babylon High School Senior Kourtney Krause has been awarded $2000 for her Second Place win in the Music Lovers Club Scholarship Competition.
Kourtney has been impressing people for years now with her musical talent and accomplishments. She has been selected to the All-County Choir for eight consecutive years and the All-State Choir for two consecutive years. She was chosen to participate in the MENC All-Eastern Mixed Choir, which took place in Providence, Rhode Island, in March.
Kourtney has been an integral part of the North Babylon musical program as a member of the Marching Band, the Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Musical Pit Orchestra, Choir, Madrigal Singers, Girls Vocal Ensemble, and Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Whatever she does musically is golden.
