NBHS Wins Theater Awards

At the Babylon Citizens Council of the Arts TOBY awards ceremony, North Babylon High School’s musical "Pippin," directed by David Signorelli, won the Outstanding Musical for Babylon Town. In all, the high school won five of the eight nominations received, also including Outstanding Dance Performance, Best Supporting Actor (Luke Vander Putten), Best Male Vocal (Mark Maurice), and Best Actor in a Musical (Kevin Crowley). Additionally, Kevin was recognized by the BACCA council representatives for his recent success as the tri-state area's choice for Best Actor in a Musical - the "Gershwin Awards."
