NBTO Holds "Soup-er Bowl" for Town Food Pantry
The North Babylon Teachers' Organization held its Annual Soup-er Bowl during the months of January and February to collect nonperishable items for the Town of Babylon Annex. Members of the NBTO delivered several shopping carts overflowing with canned and boxed food, diapers, and baby food. The people at the annex were very appreciative but said that there is such a demand for food in these economically difficult times that they can not keep the shelves stocked for people in need.
