NBTO Participates in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Jones Beach
The North Babylon Teachers' Organization participated in the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk at Jones Beach on October 17th, along with NYSUT members across Long Island. NYSUT is the largest union multi-site Flagship sponsor of "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" in the United States, and North Babylon members of NYSUT are proud to be a part of NYSUT's commitment to this important health issue. So far, the North Babylon Teachers' Organization has raised over $6,500 for "Making Strides" and is still receiving donations. On October 13th the NBTO held a Karaoke Contest fundraiser with over 45 teachers and staff members performing.
