NBTO Retirees Chapter Involved in Community Service
At the Holiday Luncheon and General Meeting held on December 6th at the Irish Coffee Pub, the Retirees Chapter of the NBTO raised $485.50 to purchase supermarket gift cards for families in need in North Babylon as part of the NBTO’s Annual Holiday Gift Drive. The Chapter also raised $2,700 at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Jones Beach in October in conjunction with the NBTO and NYSUT. These retirees may no longer be working in the district but they still participate in fund raising events. The President is Judy Phillips (pictured).
