NB Named One of "Best Communities for Music Education"
The NAMM Foundation has once again selected the North Babylon School District as one of the 2011 Best Communities for Music Education. Only 179 communities across the country have received this impressive distinction this year. "Thanks to the support of our community, the Music and Fine Arts Department here in North Babylon has flourished over the years," explains Director Dr. Kim Lowenborg-Coyne. "We are always exploring exciting new programs and funding opportunities from outside sources, which helps us diversify and improve our offerings."
