Parliament Place Class impresses President Obama
Mrs. Dooley’s first grade class watched President Obama on television the first week of school and wrote him a letter promising to do their best without excuses. The whole class signed their names to the letter. As a result, when the President was in New York recently, a student from the class, Victorria Menzies, and her family were present as the President read the class’ letter to the audience and shook Victorria’s hand. Everyone in the class is indeed working hard, trying their best, and making their parents, their teacher, and even the President of the United States proud!
