Parliament Place Holds School Spirit Days
Under the leadership of Principal Drew Olson, Parliament Place Elementary School certainly knows how to build camaraderie in school and create a "one big family" atmosphere. They accomplish this goal by holding school spirit days each month and wearing the school colors of blue and white. They also hold many other spirit days such as "Twin Day," "Football Day," and "College Day." Each day is designed not only to unite the school but also to have a special message. For instance, on College Day all the faculty members wear shirts from their colleges or universities to show their support for higher education. Students are also encouraged to wear college shirts and most of them do. "College Day" is a good way not only to promote higher education and but also to give students something to strive for in the future. The picture was taken on "Twin Day."
