Parliament Place Promotes Breast Cancer Awareness

The faculty and staff at Parliament Place have been busy this year promoting Breast Cancer Awareness. They sold over 440 pink rubber ducks and donated the money to Susan B. Komen for the Cure Fund in honor of one of Parliament's own family members. They also donated money from their "Pink and Denim Day." In addition, NBTO members from Parliament participated in the NBTO "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" Karaoke Contest held on October 13th. Teachers Jennifer Shea and Greg Morisse both performed at that event. Jennifer sang a lovely version of "This Time Around" that won her Second Place, and Greg Morisse sang an inspirational "Don't Stop Believin.'"
