RMMS Celebrates Spirit Week
The theme for Robert Moses Middle School’s Spirit Week at the beginning of March was “Tis’ the Season.” Throughout the week there were all sorts of games, music, assemblies, prizes, and creative costumes. Green was everywhere as St. Patrick’s Day was celebrated. Red, white, and blue were the colors for the 4th of July and tattoo decals were handed out in homeroom. Valentine’s Day featured “Kiss an 8th Grader Goodbye” candy grams and messages. New Year’s Eve was celebrated with beads, and a pancake eating contest sponsored by IHOP was held after school. Bulldog Spirit Day was celebrated with the school colors of blue and white and a “Dancing with the Stars” in-school assembly.
