RMMS Marching Band Plays at Suffolk''s Unity Day Celebration
Mrs. Teresa Pino and the award winning Robert Moses Middle School Marching Band represented the North Babylon School District at this year's Suffolk County "Unity Day" Celebration. "We are so very proud of this band", says Director of Art and Music Programs Dr. Kim Lowenborg-Coyne. "Only in existence since 1996, it is amazing that this group has been awarded the Chairman's Trophy in the 2008 Garden City St. Patrick's Day Celebration and several trophies in the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade, including First Place in 1999". The band was featured on a WLNY TV-55 News program on October 29, 2010, and has received a certificate of recognition from County Executive Steve Levy.
