RMMS Students Go On Global Safari

On November 8th, 2010, two people from The Bureau of Lectures presented "Global Safari Animals" to the RMMS 6th graders. The students were fascinated to learn about these animals and their habitats while several volunteers were able to hold and touch the furry little guests, along with one not so furry creature, a 10 foot long Burmese Python which five students helped carry (pictured). Mr. DeLapi even ended up with a tarantula crawling across his chest. Everyone had a great time learning about several species of animals from around the world. The PTA deserves thanks for making this program possible.
