Spooktacular Teen Read at RMMS

Teen Read Week was a very exciting time at the Robert Moses Middle School Library, as students were treated to a fun-filled scary story experience conducted by Library Media Specialist, Sharon Sullivan. Classes that were fortunate enough to sign up for the program were transfixed by the library’s transformation into a truly spooky place.
Covered in cobwebs and crawling with rats, the “haunted” library was the perfect setting for the creepy urban legends Mrs. Sullivan, dressed as a ghoulish-looking vampire, shared with the students. The background of fog, terrifying Halloween sounds, glowing creatures, an 8-foot spider web with a huge spider, and a sound-activated ghoul only added to the fun, as students screamed and laughed.
