Students Win In Worldwide Math Competition

Students at Robert Moses Middle School participated in the 24th annual American Mathematics Competition 8 (AMC 8). Over 170,000 students from 2,300 schools participated in this worldwide competition for local and national awards.
The RMMS school winner is Charles DiGiovanna. He went on and competed as a team with the second and third place winners, Lauren Lester and Eric Rooney. Among the forty-seven RMMS participants, twelve students placed gold, silver, and bronze in their age group. Along with the three students already mentioned, the winners are Jamie Geraghty, Alexander Krupski, Samantha Louden, Brian Manzo, Jessica Millner, Brock Schmid, Katherine Schneider, Christopher Kramer, and Breanna Lyn.
