Brittany Trentalange
Valedictorian
Brittany Trentalange is the valedictorian. She has been a serious and dedicated student who has certainly earned her place as valedictorian. She has also accomplished so much with her community service and participation in extracurricular activities. She has participated in numerous charity walks is order to spread awareness about diseases such as breast cancer, diabetes, arthritis, and ALS. Her membership in the National Honor Society and Students for a Better World have led her to participate in events that have made the community a better place to live.
Having varied interests, Brittany is a member outside of school in a dance team and has performed in various locations throughout the United States such as Las Vegas, Disney’s Magic Kingdom, and Hershey Park.
Brittany’s love of art, from drawing and painting to sculpting and building, have led her to pursue a degree in Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Jennifer Rice
Salutatorian
Jennifer Rice is the salutatorian. In addition to excelling academically, Jennifer Rice has been active in extracurricular activities such as the Academic Team, The International Club, the National Honor Society, and the Newspaper Club. She also has been a member of the Cross Country and Winter Track Teams where she “grew to understand the true meaning of commitment and perseverance.”
She says that while playing violin in the school orchestra, she was able to pursue her love for music and she excelled in this area, too, on the NYSSMA level. She also found time for community service as she helped raise money for ALS and participated in walks to support the funding of research for breast cancer, Lupus, and Parkinson’s disease. Attributing much of her success to her teachers, Jennifer says, “They pointed me in the right direction when the roads weren’t always clearly marked.” It is not surprising that she will major in education at St. Joseph’s College in the fall.
