Woods Road Defeats DeLuca in Volleyball Game
The Woods Road and William E. DeLuca Elementary Schools recently competed against each other in a volleyball game to raise funds to help others. After winning the first two games, DeLuca seemed to be runaway victors for the evening, but Woods Road came back by winning the next three games in a row. Mr. Golub, the Principal of Woods Road, served the winning point. The rivalry between the two schools was played out in front of excited students who were waving signs to cheer for the players from their school. Pictured is the Woods Road team.
