Woods Road Holds Pajama Drive
At Woods Road
When Scholastic Books challenged the nation to collect pajamas for needy families, Woods Road Elementary School answered the call and participated in the Pajama Drive. New York State alone donated 68,000 pairs of pajamas. For every pair of pajamas donated, Scholastic donated a book. The pajamas and books collected by the Woods Road families were donated to a shelter in Bellport, New York.
