Woods Road Is "Calling All Birds"
Second graders in Mrs. Tierney’s class at Woods Road are welcoming Spring with an innovative ad campaign entitled “Calling All Birds.” After reading and interpreting various advertisements, they wrote birdhouse ads to get birds to choose their houses for homes. Some of their creative offerings included feathery couches, jacuzzi birdbaths, free seed and worms, handmade nests, bird video games, and a safe place to raise baby birds and teach them how to fly.
