Woods Road Staff Presents Winter Spectacular

The staff at Woods Road celebrated the holiday season on December 17th by presenting their 5th Annual Winter Spectacular fundraiser to help families in need at Woods Road. They performed favorite songs such as "Winter Wonderland," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "Hanukkah," "Felliz Navidad," "Here Comes Santa Claus," and "Jingle Bells." As always, Mr. Golub, the Principal, entertained everyone with his dramatic telling of "You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch."
The Woods Road Debacle Brothers Band played the songs flawlessly with Pam Basile on flute and trumpet, Mark Bligh on saxophone, Steven Golub on bass, Joseph Greco on violin, Michael O’Connor on guitar and bass, Anthony Parlato on percussion, Madeline Parlato on piano, Tom Schultheis on cello, and Thomas Shinger on trumpet, trombone, and chimes. The Debacle Band backed up the Chorus for an evening of fun enjoyed thoroughly by a standing room only audience of parents, children, and community members. Members of the Chorus were Pat Biscardi, Marisa Bonventre, Michael Breiner, Cindy Brown, Bridget Caltieri, Diana DeRise, Roseann Feise, Debbie Gormezano, Debbie Manzella, Carol McIlmurray, Amanda Punzi, Marie Rivera, and Jean Walsh. It was obvious that the Woods Road performers had spent long hours rehearsing for this very entertaining evening.
