RMMS Band Members Perform at Senior Center
Under the direction of Mrs. Teresa Pino, Mrs. Kristin Lombardo and Mrs. Theresa Marchionna, sixty Robert Moses Middle School Marching Band students performed at the NB Senior Center on January 11th.
The band thrilled their audience with "Chorale" from Jupiter, one of the Holst "Planets," the "Theme from Spiderman", and the popular song "What I've Done" from the blockbuster movie "Transformers." They ended with a preview of upcoming performances by playing a "Patriotic Parade Sequence" to be used in their Garden City and Manhattan St. Patrick’s Day Parade appearances.
North Babylon Schools Art and Music Programs work in partnership with the NB Senior Center. After this exciting program, the seniors could hardly wait for the February performance featuring elementary chamber ensembles with teachers Miss Verderosa and Mr. Guza.
