RMMS Kicks Off Spirit Week With "A Theme A Day"

To create a sense of "family," Robert Moses Middle School kicked off its annual "Spirit Week" on Feb. 8th with a "Crazy Sock/Crazy Hair Day." Then on Tuesday they had "Ugly Holiday Shirt/Sweater Day" as students vied with each other to wear their ugliest shirts. It was certainly not a fashionable day at Moses, to be sure! Wednesday was "Dress Like A Teacher/Student Day" and students had lots of fun dressing like their favorite teachers while teachers dressed like their students. Thursday was "Mismatch Day," and let’s just say that the clothing was wild and wildly original, but maybe a tad much for the eyes! Friday was, naturally, "Moses Spirit Day" with everyone wearing the school colors of blue and white. The highlight of this day was two basketball games between the blue team of teachers versus the white team of teachers. Half the school attended the morning game and the other half attended the afternoon game. It was an exciting way to end the week and kick off the winter vacation.
