DeLuca Celebrates Dr. Seuss'' Birthday

The birthday of Dr. Seuss was a big event for Mrs. Coromilas' class at William E. DeLuca Elementary School during the week of March 1st. In celebration, they made hats like the ones in "The Cat in the Hat" and read and listened to his stories. The favorite activity for most of the students was dressing Wacky, finding Wacky things in their classroom, and listening to the story "Wacky Wednesday." After listening to the story "Oh, The Places You'll Go," the students wrote about what they would like to be when they grow up, where they would live, and what they would do. The class also enjoyed celebrating with Mrs. McManus, the Principal, and going to Airport Playhouse to see a Dr. Seuss play.
