HS Student Places First At Film Festival
A North Babylon High School student, Eric Micallef has won First Place in the Short Film category in the recent St. John the Baptist High School Student Film Festival. Eric is a second year Film Studies student whose award winning recent classroom film project was titled "Watch Your Back". Its theme was finding new friendships in unlikely ways. An avid filmmaker and member of the Film Studies/FilmMaking class, Eric plans to attend college in the fall and then pursue a career in the film industry.
