MGV Presents "Peter Pan"
Under the talented direction of Jeanette Roberto and Darren Lotter, Marion G. Vedder Elementary School presented “Peter Pan” to the community to enthusiastic applause. Ranging in age from five to eleven, the cast and chorus worked diligently for four months in rehearsals after school. To give as many students as possible a chance to perform, there were two separate casts of actors and actresses with a total of 97 students who presented four shows.
Mrs. Lora Dellosso directed the musical numbers, while Mrs. Lisa Gregorek designed all of the impressive scenery. Many of the actors’ parents created imaginative costumes for the children and volunteered their time to help dress the cast throughout dress rehearsals and the actual performances.
The production was a school event with help from teachers, custodial staff, secretaries, parents, administration, and of course almost a hundred dedicated students. The excitement was palpable during both the rehearsals and the actual performances.
