NBHS Students Accepted into NASA Program
North Babylon High School is known for students with many talents and now the district can be proud that we have students representing our district at NASA. Eleven students were accepted into a program run by NASA called NASA INSPIRE. They are part of 2,156 high school students from across the country selected to participate in this program with opportunities to compete to participate in NASA/STEM experiences during the summer. It provides resources and activities, as well as a mechanism for the students and parents to interact, ask questions, and share knowledge. INSPIRE students also have the opportunity to participate in live video chats with NASA researchers and experts during the year. These live video chats provide direct connection to the Centers and feature additional NASA unique content as well as speakers and role models. This is a rich educational opportunity for the students who were selected.
