NB Bulldogs Stun Copiague
If you are a North Babylon football fan, you have to be thrilled with the Varsity Bulldogs this year. For the first time in several years, the Dawgs have started the season with a 6-0 record and just came off a 40-0 drubbing of Copiague. Preshod McCoy carried 16 times for a total of 185 yards and 3 touchdowns. Ryan Crawley and Adam Amin each had a touchdown. This year’s team is tough and physical and bulls its way down the field. That was certainly the case with their 12-7 victory over Riverhead, another smash mouth team, to quote a phrase of Coach Terry Manning. In that game Preshod McCoy scored on a 23 yard run in the first quarter and Matt Sonneberg recovered a fumble and scored the second touchdown. Ryan Crawley ran for 87 yards and was tough on defense. The team is rated 3rd in Newsday’s Large Schools Poll.
