National Jr. Honor Society Collects Books for Ethiopia
What can one do with textbooks that are no longer used in our schools, but are still in useable condition? Well, one country's obsolete is another country's gold mine as Robert Moses Junior Honor Society members discovered on October 6th as they helped pack donated textbooks to be shipped to Ethiopia. It was hot, heavy, and thirsty work, but all involved felt that wonderful euphoria one gets from doing good for both the environment and those less fortunate than themselves.
Mrs. Russo, Mr. Delgaudio, Mrs. Latterman, and Mr. Ventimiglia were all involved in the endeavor.
