Parliament Place Receives Grant
Parliament Place is the proud recipient of a grant from the Verizon Foundation and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
A colorful 9' x 12' rug of the United States donated by this community service organization is now hanging in the school's All Purpose Room which enhances the educational experience for the children. In addition, each of the fourth grade students received a personal student dictionary to use at home for their studies.
All the fourth graders presented cards and letters to thank the Pioneers for their generous donation during a ceremony held at the school. Pictured are members of the Pioneers with their President, Ann Imoina, Mr. Olson, Principal, and Miss. Montuori, a fourth grade teacher, and some of the students at Parliament Place.
