RMMS Raises Funds for Diabetes Research

Robert Moses Middle School participated in the annual (JDRF) Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s “Walk to Cure Diabetes,” which was held on October 16, 2011, at Heckscher State Park. This year the staff and National Jr. Honor Society sold paper sneakers and raised close to $1200.00 in support of Peyton Biesiadecki’s walk team, “Peyton’s Pals.” With continued support, the fervent hope is that a cure can be found for Type I Diabetes. JDRF is the #1 nonprofit funder of diabetes research worldwide, and RMMS students and staff are proud to help fund their research.
