The North Babylon Teachers’ Organization participated in the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” at Jones Beach on October 19th and  raised $ 7,414.00 so far for the American Cancer Society. In conjunction with the “Making Strides” walk, the NBTO also had a raffle to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. The winner of the raffle was Gina Petraglia, a teacher from Belmont Elementary, who won the trip to the Poconos and a resident, Joyce Bolton, who won the $100 in gasoline cards.  It was a bitterly cold day and the NBTO thanks everyone for their generous donations.  Please note that the NBTO is still accepting donations for this fundraiser.
